Antonio Sola

He started his musical studies in the Conservatorio Profesional of Almoradí with Mr. Jorge Pons, receiving the Intermediate and Upper Grade from the “Conservatorio Superior de Música Oscar Esplá” settled in Alicante with the professor Mr. Juan García Iborra.


He was a member of the Mediterranean Young Orcherstra, of the Percussion Group from the “Conservatorio Oscar Esplà” and of the Band and Orchestra “Ciudad de Melilla”. He attended classes with professors such as Marinus Komst, Juanjo Guillem, David Friedma, Paco Díaz, Manel Ramada, Richard Jansen and Herman Rieken, and has collaborated with musical ensembles such as the “Orquesta Ciudad de Elche”, the Municipal Band of Alicante, the “Orquesta Ciudad de Barcelona” and the National Orchestra of Catalonia (O.B.C.), working as well with conductors such as Juan García Iborra, Miguel Ortega, Michel Tabacknich and Lawrence Foster. 


In 2001, Antonio Sola won the First prize in the Musical Performance Contest “Villa de Cox”.


During the academic years 00-01 and 01-02, he attended to a percussion post graduate course where he continued and specialized his percussion studies with Mr. Josep Vicent in the “Conservatorio Superior of Castellón”.


Nowadays, Antonio Solá is a percussion teacher in the Conservatorio Profesional of Cartagena and Almoradí.
